A Small Bundle of Forests and Nights
My Perfect Chihuahua
a book of Milu
William Vincent Carleton
This is Milu, a small white Chihuahua, and she is perfect. They said she would stay extra small; she grew into exactly the Chihuahua she is. She barks at newcomers like a doorbell with ears, steals the boy's stuffed animals, visits his plate, rides the zip line into open hands, and asks to be lifted onto the bed like royalty. A warm, funny bedtime portrait of a beloved family dog.
