Ardent Sinners
William Vincent Carleton
For adult readers. Content note: sexual assault, including of a minor, and violence.
Written from start to finish, live on Twitch.tv.
Avataris technology gave Joy Andros a new start. At eighteen it rebuilt her DNA and made her a woman, more beautiful than anyone in the Known. Her new life opens every door, including a bid from a Yale sorority and a way back to Barnabe Glazer, the football captain who assaulted her in a high school locker room when she was fifteen.
Joy finds him, seduces him and kills him, then takes his family’s cryptocurrency and flees to Mexico City. There she opens a refuge for survivors of sexual assault. It offers counseling and Avataris reconstruction that turns them into avengers of the men who hurt them. These women are the Ardent Sinners.
